The 2023 Kick Off Luncheon is sold out! 

The Annual Kick Off Sports Luncheon, with presenting sponsor Jim Turner Chevrolet, is the precursor to Baylor and high school pigskin season in Waco. The next luncheon will be held on Thursday, August 25. Join us from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Baylor Club to hear from our keynote speaker, Santana Dotson, and Baylor University's Head Football Coach, Dave Aranda, who will provide a look at the upcoming football season.


About Santana Dotson 

A three-year starter under coach Grant Teaff at Baylor, Santana Dotson played at Baylor from 1988-1991 and finished his career with 193 tackles, 18 sacks and four forced fumbles. He was a three-time all-conference pick and a consensus first-team all-American as a senior in 1991, when he had 60 tackles, four sacks and two blocked kicks. He is a member of the Baylor Sports Hall of Fame, Texas Sports Hall of Fame and Southwest Conference Hall of Fame.

Dotson was drafted by Tampa Bay in the 5th round of the 1992 draft in route to being named the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He spent four seasons in Tampa before signing with the Green Bay Packers, where he played for six seasons. Dotson played in two Super Bowls with the Packers and was a member of the team that won Super Bowl XXXI. In total for his 10 seasons in the NFL, Dotson started 129 games with 460 tackles and 49 sacks.
